If you couldn't have guessed it, MarahTonic's idea came from my own name. MT Mark Thompson. I found that during my stint as Basic, I wanted something more personal with my name, and something unique. Marah, was found as a synonym to "bitterness" from a search on google, but has its roots from the Bible in where the Israelites traveled through during their Exodus to the Promised Land. Marah had a pool of water of which was so bitter that the Israelites could not drink from it. Moses received revelation and cast a "certain tree" into the water to cleanse the bitterness, so that the thirsty Israelites would not die in the desert. My art work
